Chapman High School

The Miss Mabry Pageant is a beauty pageant for students in grades 6-8 who attend or will be attending Mabry Middle School.  The Miss Mabry pageant is sponsored by the Inman Band Booster Club as a fundraiser to help support the band program.  

Who can participate?  There are three feeder schools that feed Mabry:  Holly Springs-Motlow Elementary, Inman Intermediate, and New Prospect Elementary.  The 6th graders at those schools participate, as well as the 7th and 8th grade from Mabry Middle.  You do not have to have pageant experience to participate.  This is a wonderful pageant (we encourage you to ask around) with a director who has many years of experience at local, state, and national pageants.  

In what categories do the contestants compete?  Each contestant is scored in two phases of competition, casual wear and evening gown.  The five highest scoring contestants in those categories will go to a final round.  In the final round, contestants will answer an on stage question (they will have access to the questions before the pageant so they can be prepared).  Each grade level will have a winner and her court (1st runner-up, 2nd runner-up) with the highest overall score being named Miss Mabry 2024 (elementary/middle).  There is also a Miss Congenialty voted on by the contestants in each grade level and a Most Photogenic, voted on by the audience members in the hall before and during the pageant.  

How much does it cost to participate?  There is a $40 registration fee to participate.   Each contestant is also responsible for an ad page, but contestants get sponsorships from local businesses to pay for their ad page.  

Our pageant has a history of outstanding management, quality, and camaraderie among the contestants.  It is a great first pageant for the younger grades, and great opportunity for the middle school students to get some real pageant experience to continue competition at the high school and beyond.  Our pageant director has many years of experience on the local and state level and has been working with us for over 13 years.  We are sure that you will enjoy your experience as most contestants compete all 3 years they are eligible.

Feb. 11th - Rehearsal 6th Grade: 1:00-2:30 (Prince/Princess come from 2:00-2:30), 7th Grade: 2:30-4:00 (Prince/Princess come from 3:30-4:00), 8th Grade: 4:00-5:30 (Prince/Princess from 5:00-5:30)
