Coach Kim LaBoard is no stranger to the volleyball community at Chapman, having served as Assistant Coach since 2022. Before joining our team, she was the head varsity coach at J.L. Mann High School for eight seasons, bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to our program. Off the court, Coach LaBoard continues to shape young athletes as the indoor director and coach at Excell Sports LLC, a travel volleyball program.
Coach LaBoard attended the University of West Florida, studying sports management. Her deep understanding of sports dynamics is evident in her coaching philosophy and approach.
"I am thrilled to lead the Chapman volleyball team, a group with exceptional talent and community backing," says Coach LaBoard. "I am passionate about volleyball and am committed to fostering a culture of excellence and sportsmanship. I look forward to inspiring our players to achieve greatness both on and off the court. It's a privilege to be part of such a supportive school and vibrant community."
