Congratulations to Coach Jared St.Charles, the newly appointed Head Coach for the Chapman High School Varsity Boys Basketball team!
St. Charles is already well-known within Spartanburg One. Over the past four years, he successfully led the girls’ basketball team at Landrum High School to impressive heights, including a recent appearance in the state championship game. Before his tenure with the Lady Cardinals, he was the assistant coach for the boys' varsity team and the head coach for the junior varsity team.
Prior to joining the Spartanburg One family, St. Charles coached in Florida, where he spent nine seasons as the Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at J.W. Mitchell High School in Trinity. His extensive experience on the court isn't just limited to coaching; he also played basketball at Central Michigan University. It was there that he earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Earth Science, laying the groundwork for his dual passions of teaching and basketball.
"It's an honor to be a part of the Inman community of Spartanburg One that rallies behind its teams. I'm here to build not just skilled players but great citizens on and off the court. Every player on this team has the potential to excel, and I am excited to start working with them," he added.
Coach St. Charles reflected on his new position, saying, "It's thrilling to start this new chapter at Chapman High. The opportunity to potentially coach my own boys here adds a deeply personal touch to this new and exciting journey."
Coach St. Charles has officially begun his tenure at Chapman High School. Best wishes, Coach!
