E-Learning Day for Friday, January 10, 2025

Spartanburg School District One is prioritizing the safety of its students and staff as the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Upstate South Carolina. The advisory, beginning Friday morning, predicts a wintry mix of snow and sleet that could create hazardous conditions across the region.

To ensure everyone’s safety, the district will observe an e-learning day on Friday, January 10, 2025. Additionally, all Friday and Saturday activities have been canceled in response to the impending weather conditions.

Each school will also provide specific instructions regarding e-learning assignments to ensure students can continue their education seamlessly from home.

“Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our students and staff,” said Dr. Mark Smith, Superintendent of Spartanburg School District One. “We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we navigate this winter weather event.”

We encourage everyone to stay updated on local weather reports, exercise caution during the storm, and remain safe throughout the weekend.
