CGS will recognize National Red Ribbon Week next week, October 28th through November 1st.  It is a week to promote healthy choices and a pledge to be drug-free.  National Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated through themed dress up days and classroom/grade-level activities.

 On Monday, October 28th - We will celebrate Athlete vs. Mathlete Day. Students are encouraged to dress up in their favorite athletic attire or pull off their best “nerdy” look.

On Tuesday, October 29th - We will celebrate ‘Merica Day. Students are encouraged to wear patriotic apparel or camo in support of our armed services.

On Wednesday, October 30th - We will celebrate Doppelgänger Day. Students are encouraged to “twin it” with a friend or group of friends.

On Thursday, October 31st - We will celebrate Heroes vs. Villains Day. Students are encouraged to dress like a hero or a villain. Please NO MASKS and NO PROPS. Outfits must be school-appropriate.

Finally on Friday, November 1st - We will celebrate Student/Teacher Switch Day. Students are encouraged to dress like teachers and teachers are encouraged to dress like students.
