Mrs. Trout's 1st grade class has had a Teacher Cadet, Miss Savannah Burris, from Chapman High School working in our room. Savannah plans to attend college and be a teacher when she graduates. Mrs. Rakes’ first grade class is learning the Irish folk dance “Frosty Weather” which they will sing on the December 5th concert. Folk dancing is an excellent way to reinforce musical concepts such as steady beat, form, and phrasing! #makingconnections #ieseagles
