Spartanburg One is proud to have ten students who were selected to SCMEA Region One Honors Orchestras today and tomorrow! 6-8 Orchestra Susanna Cholak, Violin 1, Campobello-Gramling Maegan Lennon, Violin 1, Campobello-Gramling Ella Padgett, Viola, Landrum Middle 9-10 Orchestra Lorilie Rittenberg, Violin 2, Landrum High Trinity Cooke, Viola, Landrum High Gwenivere Brown, Viola, Chapman High Lily Cothran, Cello, Chapman High Zarina Bogomaziuk, Cello, Chapman High 11-12 Orchestra Sophia Bennett, Viola, Landrum High Gabrielle Niblack, Bass, Chapman High These talented musicians have practiced individually and this weekend will come together under guest conductors for countless hours of rehearsal. Mrs. Danielle Floyd​ has been selected as Spartanburg School District One 2023 District Teacher of the Year.​ 🎉 Mrs. Floyd is a special education teacher at Landrum High School. She is entering her 12th year in Spartanburg One at LHS. The surprise announcement was during a back-to-school meeting on Thursday surrounded by her family and colleagues! ​Congratulations, Mrs. Floyd!

Any student who plans to drive and park on campus for the 1st time must have completed the Alert & Alive Permit Pass Class, or show enrollment in a fall class. This is required by the district for all new student drivers who drive and park on campus. ⚠️🚘 To register ➡️https://tinyurl.com/yve2x85u

🏕️ Our summer campers recently got a surprise visit from some fascinating critters and the one and only Mr. Chuck Alberding from Wildlife Geeks!
