📚❤️ Plan Ahead for a Successful School Year! ❤️📚 As you make plans for the 2026–2027 school year, we encourage families to schedule vacations and appointments around our school calendar whenever possible. Every school day matters! Classroom instruction, hands-on activities, discussions, and collaborative learning experiences are difficult to recreate when students are absent. Being present each day helps students stay connected, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. Thank you for partnering with us to make attendance a priority. We look forward to an amazing year of learning, growing, and making memories together at Landrum Middle School! ❤️🖤 #LiveLearnLandrum #RespectExcellenceDetermination

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Gonzalez to Landrum Middle School! #LiveLearnLandrum
"Hello! My name is Manny Gonzalez, and I'm excited to be joining the Landrum Middle School family as the Computer Science teacher! This is my third year in education. I began my teaching career in P.E. at Inman Elementary before teaching Computer Science at Woodruff High School last year. Although I was born in Southern California, I moved to the Upstate when I was in fourth grade. I attended Campobello-Gramling School and am a proud 2018 graduate of Landrum High School, so it's exciting to return to Spartanburg One! My wife, Kali, is also a teacher in the district at O.P. Earle Elementary. She serves as the girls varsity basketball head coach, while I coach varsity boys basketball as an assistant coach and varsity boys golf. When I'm not teaching or coaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife, playing golf with my brothers and friends, and cheering on my favorite sports teams. I look forward to an exciting year of learning, creativity, and problem-solving with my students!"

Our 7th-grade Honors Math students had a blast taking learning outside as they participated in a fun Barbie Bungee Jump Challenge! Through this hands-on activity, students explored concepts like measurement, proportional relationships, data collection, and prediction while working collaboratively and creatively. Who knew math and Barbie bungee jumping could make such a perfect combination? Great job, Cardinals! ❤️🖤 #LiveLearnLandrum #STEMinaction #RespectExcellenceDetermination

## 🐴 What an incredible morning for Mr. Millwood and his dedicated 7th-grade students! On Friday, a group of student leaders visited Hope Remains Ranch to see firsthand the impact of a year’s worth of hard work. Every year, Mr. Millwood’s class tackles a year-long service project, and this year, their hearts were set on supporting the mission of Hope Remains. These students didn't just donate; they rolled up their sleeves and got to work: Students wrote persuasive essays, designed professional logos, and created eye-catching flyers. They spent time at the Landrum Farmer's Market selling raffle tickets and delicious baked goods. Through their entrepreneurship and dedication, they raised a staggering **$2,098** for the nonprofit! The visit concluded with the students officially delivering the check and touring the ranch facilities to see how their contribution will help others. We are so proud of these students for showing what it means to be community-minded leaders! 🌟 #LiveLearnLandrum #RespectExcellenceDetermination #HopeRemainsRanch
