We are thrilled to announce that the Office of Health and Nutrition at the SC Department of Education selected Landrum Middle School to participate in the 2025 School Garden and Education Assistance Program! As part of the program, team members Eddie Williams, Stephanie Quinn, and Michelle Ballentine successfully completed Clemson University's “School Gardening for SC Educators” online course — a key step toward bringing hands-on gardening education to their students. Thanks to the program, the school has received:
🌿 Raised garden beds
🪴 Bag goods & tools
💧 Irrigation hoses
🌱 A worm composter
We can't wait to see the garden grow and the students bloom with it! 🌻 #SchoolGardens #LiveLearnLandrum #RespectExcellenceDetermination #LandrumFFA #HandsOnLearning

Spartanburg One will have an e-learning day on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, due to a strong wind advisory issued by the National Weather Service. The advisory will be in effect from 4 AM to 7 PM, with sustained winds of 15-25 mph and gusts reaching up to 50 mph.
State regulations prohibit school bus operations when wind gusts exceed 45 mph, making travel unsafe. As always, the safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority.
What Families Need to Know:
E-Learning: Teachers will communicate with parents and/or students regarding assignments that should be completed during the e-learning day.
After-School Activities: All after-school and evening activities scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, have been canceled.
We appreciate the flexibility and cooperation of our families and staff as we take precautions to ensure everyone's safety.
