This week at LMS: Our Jr. Beta Induction Ceremony is Tuesday night in our gymnasium. There's a small reception at 6:00 in the gym lobby. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30. On Wednesday, Valentine's Day, heart-shaped Chick-fil-A biscuits will be for sale in our morning car line. $5 each. Also on Wednesday, our 8th-grade visits Swofford Career Center. Mr. Millwood's classes have been studying the Harlem Renaissance this week. Students have been studying the artistic movement, Langston Hughes's "Mother To Son" and have researched artists from the era. Students researched people like Duke Ellington, Josephine Baker, Nora Zeale Hurston, and Ella Fitzgerald.
